The PADI Openwater diver course is designed
to be as flexible as you need it to be. At any point during your training
you may be referred to another PADI Dive
centre. A popular option is to take sections 1 & 2 within the UK (known as
the referral course) and complete section 3 during a holiday abroad.
1.Knowledge Development There are five
modules within the knowledge development section, taking you through all
the information you require to understand diving and to become a safe
diver.
2.Confined Water Training
You will learn to use scuba equipment
and practice skills within
the safe environment of a swimming pool.
3.Open Water Qualifying Dives
To become a full qualified scuba diver you
will need to complete 4 open water dives. During the dives
you will practice the diving skills you have learnt during the confined
water sessions.
